Rest assured, our staff have created a fabulous program to prepare you and your child for a smooth start to school, despite the current circumstances.

If you know of anyone who has not yet enrolled, please encourage them to do so and ask that they have downloaded the School App and joined the Pre Kindergarten Group. Parent Information Evening via Zoom

Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

During this session, parents will get to meet some of our key staff members and hear answers to frequently asked questions. By this date, you will have had the opportunity to view the Parent Information Videos. A link to this meeting and instructions will be sent out via the school app closer to this event.

Kindergarten orientation sessions are a very important part of the transition of students to school. Attending each of the sessions helps students and families to familiarise themselves with school.


Getting to Know You Interviews

Date: Monday, 23 November - Friday, 27 November

Time: TBA

Part of our Orientation Program includes having a ‘Getting to Know You Interview’. Bookings are now open on the School Interviews Website. Interviews will take place between 23 and 27 November. During the course of this week, you and your child will attend a 15 minute interview with a member of the executive staff. This is an opportunity to meet in person and also discuss any special circumstances. If you haven’t already done so, bring all of your child’s enrolment paperwork to the interview along with their ‘Transition to School Statement’ from their Childcare or Preschool.

Best Start Interviews

Date: Friday, 29 January 2021 - 2 February 2021

Time: TBA

On one of the above dates your child will be required to attend a The Best Start Kindergarten Interview. Best Start is a state-wide assessment that helps teachers identify the literacy and numeracy skills of each student at the beginning of Kindergarten. The assessment provides teachers with information on how to best support each student’s needs at school. It consists of both a literacy and numeracy component.​
