Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones

• follow speed signs

• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Kiss and Ride Zone

Our Kiss and Ride zone provides a safe and convenient area for student drop-off and pick-up. To ensure safety and efficiency, parents and carers are asked to follow these procedures:

• Remain in the queue at all times

• Do not overtake or park across driveways.

• Stay in your vehicle. Students should enter and exit the car independently with their school bag (not accessing the boot).

• Seatbelts: Students must be able to fasten their own seatbelt. Staff and volunteers are not legally permitted to assist. If your child cannot yet do this, please park and assist them safely outside the zone.

• Follow all directions from staff and volunteers respectfully.

• If asked to complete a loop because your child is not ready, please do so promptly.

• No U-turns in John Miller Street. Use the designated loop.
